Lactic Dehydrogenase Isozyme of Erythrocytes during Fetal Development

Abstract
|

|
Changes in erythrocyte lactic dehydrogenase isozyme pattern during fetal development was studied by using a differential method (heat treatment at 60°C for 20 minutes) for relative distribution of heart and muscle type isozyme.
The percentage of the muscle-type decreased while that of thee heart-type increased markedly as fetal development was proceeding.
